Privacy Policy
PRIVACY NOTICE
for the webpages of the Vienna Psychoanalytic Society.
Protecting your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, Telecommunications Act 2003). Appropriate technical measures were taken to protect the personal data we collect. In this privacy notice we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.
Contact us
If you contact us via the form on our website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored for processing your request and for possible follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
Cookies
We use cookies on our website. A cookie is a small text file that is sent to your computer and automatically saved by the web browser on your device. Cookies do not cause any harm.
We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some cookies will be stored on your device until you delete them. They allow us to recognise your browser when you revisit our website.
If you do not want this, you may configure your browser settings in a way that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in certain cases.
If you block cookies, the functionality of our website may be restricted.
Google webfonts
We are using free fonts by Google to display the font on our websites. When you access our websites, the Google Fonts will be loaded into your browser‘s cache. This will usually be done by accessing a Google server in the US which records the pages you visited, your IP address and your type of browser. If this is not supported by your device, the website will be displayed in a simplified standard font.
Web analytics: Matomo
Our website uses functions of the web analytics service Matomo. This allows us to collect anonymised information about the overall use of our website, such as access location, browser, operating system, time statistics and access frequencies. You are not personally identifiable from this data. This data only helps us to optimise our web content.
Matomo is used to store your IP address, which is, however, instantly replaced with a pseudonym. Thus only rough localisation is possible.
Legal basis for processing data using Mamoto
Data processing is based on the statutory provisions of Section 96 (3) of the Telecommunications Act and Article 6 (1) (a) (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.
Our aim in terms of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our web presence.
The user data is stored for a period of 36 months.
Your rights
You have the right to information, rectification and erasure of your personal data, and also the right to restriction of processing or to revocation of and objection to our data processing. If you believe that the processing of your data violates the data protection law or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you can lodge a complaint with the relevant supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
